The Backyardigans Bobblin’ Big Top Musical Circus Adventure Play Set (NO SOUND)

Sound/electronics do not function. When we attempted to press the “try me” button no sound was audible. We removed the base from the retail packaging, opened the battery compartment, observed light corrosion at the battery terminals, cleaned and removed the light corrosion, replaced with fresh known-working batteries, when button was pressed after this still no sound was heard. We assume to electronics do not work. Set is complete, in new condition, the retail packaging is opened and worn. If there was any instructions originally they are not included. Batteries are not included. Please see all photographs as they are of the actual item you will receive.
