If you move/shake the guitar around you can hear something small rattling/moving around inside. The battery compartment is clean. When we but batteries in the guitar we didn’t notice any lights to show us the power was on, and since we have no dongle, we have no way to test the unit. Batteries are not included. When we inspected this item there was heavy corrosion on the spring of the battery compartment. We cleaned the majority of the corrosion away, some surface rust was found below the corrosion.
